On September 11, 2001 Ivan had his daily Apparition: Our Lady was crying. She remained silent but tears streamed down her face throughout the entire Apparition.
Then Our Lady appeared to Ivan on Mount Podbrdo (Apparition hill) on September 14th.
The Apparition lasted about seven minutes.
Ivan said afterwards that the most important thing about this Apparition was that Our Lady was very,very sad.
 Ivan said she was sad because of her many children who had lost their lives in the tragedy in America.
Remember that Ivan has married an American girl and lives in Boston when he is not in Medjugorje.
Our Lady, as usual, blessed all present and prayed over everyone with her hands extended.  She then gave this message:
