THE MESSAGES OF OUR LADY AND THE BIBLE

Some words are spoken very often by Our Lady in her messages.
We chose the words which are the more frequently used in the Medjugorje Apparitions and we have matched them with verses of the Bible. The Virgin Mary has said: "Everything that I say is already written in the Bible!"


prayer
Psalms 6:9 - The LORD has heard my supplication; the LORD accepts my prayer
Psalms 66:20 - Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!
Psalms 141:2 - Let my prayer be counted as incense before thee, and the lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice!
Matthew 21:22 - And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."
Mark 11:24 - Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Matthew 6:6 - But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
Philippians 4:6 - Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - pray constantly,
James 5:13 - Is any one among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praise.
James 5:14 - Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;
James 5:15 - and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
1 Peter 3:12 - For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those that do evil."
 Jude 1:20 - But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit;
Revelation 8:4 - and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God.

Matthew 5:9 - "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Luke 2:14 - "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased!"
Luke 10:5 - Whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace be to this house!'
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
John 16:33 - I have said this to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
John 20:21 - Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you."
 Hebrews 12:14 - Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord

Romans 8:35 - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Luke 17:6 - And the Lord said, "If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this sycamine tree, 'Be rooted up, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you



joy
1 Chronicles 16:33 - Then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth.
Psalms 4:7 - Thou hast put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.
Psalms 51:12 - Restore to me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

Matthew 7:14 - For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few


 conversion and repentence

Matthew 3:2 - "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
Luke 5:32 - I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Luke 13:3 - I tell you, No; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
Luke 24:47 - and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Acts 15:3 - So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through both Phoeni'cia and Sama'ria, reporting the conversion of the Gentiles, and they gave great joy to all the brethren.



reconciliation

2 Corinthians 5:18 - All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation
2 Corinthians 5:19 - that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

Revelation 1:3 - Blessed is he who reads aloud the words of the prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written therein; for the time is near.
